Tuning Testing the FX Harmonic tuner in a Sub 12 FX Impact.

No surprise at all. Only thing made a significant different in accuracy and consistency in my 177 FX barrels (300, 380, 500 and 600 mm STX and superlite) is the carbon liner sleeve. Yes, even at 300mm shooting 8 FPE it made a difference for me and at higher power the different is even bigger. I don’t really need to fine tune my FX if it has carbon liner sleeves glued on, for the most part I just dial for the knee of the power curve and shoot. I take is that the liner sleev completely removed the variable with the stupid orings, I absolutely hate those liner orings.

Excellent analysis. Understanding how to stabilizing the linier node possibility (carbon fiber sleeve) over the entire barrel length at a particular pressure and speed is of utmost importance. Always about the tune and dynamics that make up the package.
