I wonder how well something like that would work on a small non regulated gun tethered?

When you are using it on a non-Regulated gun.
You set the Reg pressure to the midddle of the "Sweet Spot" of the pressure curve...

I also use my setup to fill guns too!!
No Overfills!!

To me it would seem, at least on the bench tethered it would give the best shot consistently.
