I currently own the first .45 Texan made,,,,my question is can it be upgraded to the new texan carbine with the new valve and carbon tank?
Do what I did. Send you Texan to Hunter's supply and they will upgrade the valve, install a carbon fiber tank, and tune the gun for you

If your Texan is a 34" barrel then it needs a barrel change to 24" to become a carbine.
Then bottle with valve needs to be updated (from alu 3000psi to CF and 3625psi) and then most important hammer + hammer spring needs an upgrade.
Maybe easier to sell the old one as is and get a new one?

Before any responders, I found a thread that mentioned Lethal Air, I think he can do the mods, any thoughts on lethal air?

Hey guys what ammo manufacturer is the best, I have seen that a 405 grain is really accurate in these guns, who should I buy them from?

You don't want a 4500 psi valve from there. Stick with AF parts. Valve and a tank from there will cost you $700 and now you fill your gun from a compressor

You should listen to Dyotat100. He knows these Texan’s inside out. In fact you should direct all questions to him about the upgrade to your Texan 45. I did, got his valve a 250 bar CF tank and also another valve he removed the return spring which added 50 FPS more and they both preform great..also helping to convert condor 25 to a 257 cal.
