I’m new to the forum so I’m not sure if this has been asked before. But is Texan ss going to be as quiet as a Texan carbine with a suppressor on it?
Thanks for the input. I’ve got a stock 357 bulldog that I put a donnly fl on and it is definitely quieter. I am wanting to get a 457 Texan to go on a hunt to Texas. I’m just not sure if it’s worth adding the weight and length of the Texan ss . From videos I’ve watched the gun is fairly loud in either platform .The added volume of the ss should be less loud than a carbine with a can added.
What's your speed on your setupThe AF LSS CF in .457 w/298 slugs sounds like a pneumatic nail gun.
Personally, I think the sound of the impact is louder than the discharge.
This is my first year hunting with Texan .457 cf so far 3 for 3 all double lung shots love the gun so far anyone have expierence with American air arms .452 or western air bush buck .45What's your speed on your setup
