Per our usual first Saturday of each month match schedule, weather permitting the next TEXtreme Airgun Sports competitions will be this-coming weekend, February 3 & 4. The shooters meeting for Saturdays AAFTA style rifle match will be at 11 AM, followed immediately by the 56 shot rifle match. Troyer difficulty will be about 34T, without multipliers.
The shooters meeting for Sundays 60 shot AAFTA style pistol match will also be at 11 AM. There will be no forced position shots in the pistol match, which will also have a Troyer difficulty of about 34T without multipliers.
The practice range will be open from 4 PM till sunset on Friday, and open again at 9 AM Saturday and Sunday for sight-in and practice. There are usually group dinners at local eateries each day after dark.
Each match will have podium placement awards for shooters adhering to AAFTA rules. However, per a recent TEXtreme email, any shooter may shoot either match with any airgun they care to use as long as it doesn’t violate that match power limit (20 foot pounds on Saturday, 12 foot pounds on Sunday). Shooters may also shoot two guns in either match by purchasing multiple score-cards. The first score-card for either match is $20; second score-cards for either match are $10.
