FX Thank the Lord I didn’t sell it!

I almost made a stupid mistake and sold my very first air gun the FX T 12. I was considering it because I haven’t shot it in over two years. I just took her out paired with the Hugget and reminded myself never to list it. It’s ridiculously accurate, quiet and sounds nothing like an airgun. The trigger is perfection. THIS, rivals much of the newer stuff in it’s simplicity.

I can't believe the issues people have with newer FX and Daystate. I had the "past" generation models, and they were moderately robust. The stories I read about repairs on 3000 dollar rifles, make me very, very afraid to but any. I can cuff the cost, but not the frustration. Less is more. I like to shoot, not tinker.

I know what you mean. I got my Wildcat & Streamline back in 2017 & have not had to do anything to them except load & shoot. The same can be said for the Bobcat & Royale. The accuracy with pellets still amazes me with the smooth twist barrels, only having 3-4" of rifling at the end of the barrel. I hope FX never forgets what got them to the dance!

That's awesome! One of my first PCP's was a used FX T12 Field Target model in .22 and it had a pressure gauge under the stock. Great shooter, barrel was so consistent.
I think that’s what this is, with the gauge under the stock, bolt action. I’d bought it for around $350 originally-reminds you how much enjoyment can come from simple things. Full disclosure, it won’t stop me from roaming the classifieds and new releases because let’s face it, it’s “all” fun.

Thanks. It’s old and I’m thinking of putting a garden in and growing some veg and herbs. Like the idea of using the hole/cup for the Caldwell. I’m looking at those Caldwell turrets but that cheap plastic rest works great for what it is.

Amen on that! More of us need to remind them.

I've said this before, I think FX is making a mistake by not continuing to produce & market their simplest platforms like the T12, Bobcat, Royale & Boss. After the last few years of ever more complicated & o-ring laden guns, more people seem to be coming full circle back to simpler, consistently accurate & reliable platforms. Not everyone, mind you, but enough to warrant NOT discontinuing the platforms that, at one time, set the bar for pellet accuracy! I WON'T let my 3 go!
