I wanted to introduce myself as this is my first post here but also ask a question about activity on this forum. My name is Micheal, I live in central Georgia. I've been a long time shooting enthusiast and have only recently gotten into the airgun world. I've been looking through here before applying to be a member here and have made two observations. One, I had no idea airgun sports had come so far. I usually shoot long distance competitions or for fun but am amazed at this branch of the shooting sports. Second is how helpful and informative the people here seem to be, it looks like there is a ton of information to be shared and I look forward to learning more. I have a question though.
A longtime friend who introduced me to this place and is also a shooter of many years, has been banned from here and can't figure out why. He apparently has been a member for more than a year if I recall correctly but had not logged on for nearly a month. The only reason given was shown when he tried to log in and said IMPORT:banned:csv and nothing more. That is, I believe, the notice exactly as it was given. He's a pretty good person and so far as he knows has done nothing to offend anyone here, hasn't cussed at anyone, tried to do anything illegal or cheat anyone. He has messaged through the contact link to find out what he may have done three or four times in the last few weeks but has not received the courtesy of any kind of response so I decided to ask what might be going on? He wants to stress that if he's done something wrong it was inadvertent and he will glad to make up for it. I've known him for many years and know that he isn't the sort to go around causing trouble. As for myself, I'd like to know also to avoid making a mistake that gets me banned. So would someone, a moderator or administrator, please let me know what happened and how to fix it? Thanks.
