airmaks Katran. Use the leftover Money for a hawke 4-12x50AO vantage if you’re a set it and forget holdover shooter. Or a Newer series Discovery HD and a nice tripod

Don’t spend the 2000 because the upper priced air rifles are just not worth it. Get yourself a marauder or any sea air rifle .AEA they are the leader and error gun advancements. They make some beautiful air rifles. You should check them out. And get yourself a compressor with the extra cash you save. Or maybe get yourself two rifles and a compressor. They’re so-called top notch high money stuff doesn’t shoot any better

This statement, with typo, is accurate. I have never had products with as many errors in design as the three AEA guns that unfortunately passed through my hands (in my effort to find one that could get through a couple of magazines without jamming or breaking). If you have to get something from this company get the most simple thing they make and shoot it under its maximum power.

I was looking up this Hw100 finally , and noticed that the airgun Depot sellers it as a Beeman , but then states manufacturer is weihrauch
So this is Greman ?

I'd either get a RAW from Martin Rutterford or a Skout
The RAW from Martin because it is a solid tank of a rifle. No need to adjust or tune if you ask Martin to set it up and you are good to go. I would go to the source for this rifle. Owned one for a decade and still going strong
The Skout because it is an amazing shooting platform. Able to change barrels in minutes, easily to tune, and has a wonderful staff to help to when help is needed. Every few weeks, Skout is innovating something new to improve. They are out in the fields and on the benchrest line listening to what people have to say and incorporate it into their improvements. Best new company on the airgun scene.

# 1 Depends on what style of gun you like to hold and shoot . Do you like the FX look ? Maybe the Daystate Huntsman look ? #2 Where are you shooting ? basement ? , back yard (and how close is the neighbor ? ) #3 You can shoot any style gun at targets , bench ,freehand, bucket and sticks #4 what type targets , cans , bottle caps , very small dots on paper ? #4 Power versus distance ?
Just something to think about .

I have a 45 ft range in my back yard lol but I live in the deserts of Tucson Az , so the sky is the limit.
Actually the sky is mostly blue , and very dang hot . Got desert range at 150 yards big dirt hill for back catch.
