This statement, with typo, is accurate. I have never had products with as many errors in design as the three AEA guns that unfortunately passed through my hands (in my effort to find one that could get through a couple of magazines without jamming or breaking). If you have to get something from this company get the most simple thing they make and shoot it under its maximum power.

The RAW from Martin because it is a solid tank of a rifle. No need to adjust or tune if you ask Martin to set it up and you are good to go. I would go to the source for this rifle. Owned one for a decade and still going strong
The Skout because it is an amazing shooting platform. Able to change barrels in minutes, easily to tune, and has a wonderful staff to help to when help is needed. Every few weeks, Skout is innovating something new to improve. They are out in the fields and on the benchrest line listening to what people have to say and incorporate it into their improvements. Best new company on the airgun scene.

I have a 45 ft range in my back yard lol but I live in the deserts of Tucson Az , so the sky is the limit.
Actually the sky is mostly blue , and very dang hot . Got desert range at 150 yards big dirt hill for back catch.

I am like you in the fact the hunting was my biggest passion but as I grew into my senior years I choose not to kill natures creations I am a devote target shooter and have gone through quite a few guns in pursuit of accuracy . The one gun that always amazes me is my Vulcan 3 22 cal shooting pellets. I think that any of the brands with the CZ barrels have potential for match grade competition accuracy. To the point that is I go to a competition and see Raws or Thomas on the bench I will have a dont count me out attitude . I have shot several 5 shot groups at 35 yards that when I stick a pellet back into the hole .the completely fills the hole . Its hard to get more accurate than that

I seen JC do that in one of his reviews on Airgun Dectives. I wish I could remember which video that was , but all 5 through the perfect same little hole.

Recently someone told me to handle any gun I'm going to buy before I buy it ,band I know it's a cheap rifle , but I learned that lesson as well with a Beeman Chief I bought it , because it was Beeman , and it was heavy , and loud with no way to ad a Moderator. Had to get rid of it could not shoot it in my back yard. I did love the perfect , and most beautiful wood stock though.

I just ordered my first FFP 5 x 30 x 56 it's on the way , but it's a very inexpensive Spina scope. After I learn about the rifles I suppose I'll study up on the scopes. I tell you the beautiful air rifle I have ever seen is the Brocock Safari Sniper XL.

Pellets, I personally like to keep them well within 100Y and nowadays would rather just use them in my 30 fpe and less guns.

A pcp I really enjoy for inside 50Y, well mostly shooting at reactive and closer in steel, is another Steyr which is my LGB1 Biathlon trainer in .177. It uses little 5 round stick mags and is only 6 fpe. The way it cocks is very unique and fast, faster than any non semi repeater I've shot so far. It's also very precise though not as precise as my Thomas's. Very reliable as well, great ergos, great trigger, lightweight, and gets 100 shots per fill. Such a neat and high quality gun which I never regretted buying!

When camping I was hitting flies on the rocks across the stream at 27Y with it and perhaps the most fun was trying to guess the wind right because that's the main challenge with 6 fpe.
I've shot this gun at 100Y, lol, and I can hit small objects as long as the wind is down but that was experimental and I've only done this a few times since I bought it more than a decade ago.

Being a semi the Steyr ProX is a tad more fun on steel.

The Thomas's are for FT and UFT. Purple Reign as I named it in rifle form is at 19.5 fpe and in pistol form at 11.5 fpe I named the Purp/perp, these/this are the same gun that I convert over.
SURELY with the walnut stock is for UFT or Benchrest and is at 48.5 fpe currently using 22 cal 32.3 grain Altaros slugs.

All of these are what I consider fairly specialized and high quality though a bit pricey. The funny thing is I'd sell all of them, or I should say each of them, if I thought I could get most of my money out of them to put that into replacing them with even higher realms of utility and hottness in the next best thing that suited my styles of what guns trip my trigger the most!

Well guys finally re read the whole post. I now own a Tuxing model TXED012 Twin cylinder Compressor , and have a Umarex Guantlet 2 SL on the way to play with untill I get my Zelos back together. I have a Spina FFP on the way. A Chronograph on the way. A shooting rest , and putting a fill station together on the way as well.
Yep I dove in the Rabbit hole head first , got 4 extra mags for the Guantlet on the way as well
I think the Compressor , and the 4,500 psi fill on the SL will be a perfect match. The rabbit hole has no bottom. Is it hobby , or an obsession , or both lol. Thanks for all the cool stuff I learned on this post Brother Of Airguns BOA .
