HELP!
Hey Red Wolfers, I've had my Red Wolf HP .22 for a couple years and would like to get it shooting the MRD's at about 970. Right now, on HP it goes about 900. What's the best/easiest way for me to do this? I don't need 12 power settings like a heliboard has. I am wondering if I can just change out my GCU1 board for the new GCU2 board and be in the ballpark?
I use the gun for speed silly, shooting 18's on med power, and now, 100 yard EBR, shooting MRD's on high.
I am primarily a FT shooter so I am used to getting my gun set up and keeping it there, all this tuning stuff is quite beyond me. Should I just sell it and get a RW Safari .22? Or a Safari .25 for the EBR? I'd prefer to stay with the .22. From everything I've read, a well tuned .22 shooting MDR's is about as good as it gets for an airgun at 100 yards.
Thanks
Greg

It makes perfect sense to me, thank you for taking the time to explain it to me.
Walnut harvest started today on my brothers ranch so it be a while before I can play with my rifle and programmer but when I do I am sure I will have more questions.
Thank you.
