Where I live it’s unlawful to shoot any kind of hunting implement within city limits. My wife feeds the birds and of course squirrels, chipmunks and deer. Deer and coons come out at night of course and do a very thorough job of cleaning up what daytime critters don’t eat. Sometimes I’ll get a rifle and just practice lining up a shot if I could shoot. But in the woods at the gun club or a permission I have, all bets are off for squirrels. I cook the squirrels or give them to a friend that trains hawks to hunt.
