N/A The elusive airgun that AVERAGES 100 yard sub moa groups.

Shot this a few hrs ago. Nearest weather station shows that winds were 3-5mph, mostly quartering in from about 11 o clock, but it was switching and going left at times too, per correlation between mirage and impact points.

Top left are the couple 20/18.9 (slug) sighters I shot prior to the groups. Top right and middle right are 25 shot groups with the slugs, 50 shots in a row. I was paying better attention to the mirage on the second 25 shot group with the slugs, the middle right one. That has 25 shots into 1.22moa, or 22 shots into 1.09 moa.

The bottom left is pellet sighters and bottom right is a 25 shot group with .20/15.89 pellets. I was curious about wind effect on them versus the slugs so just held dead center for all 25 shots. Wind was pushing the pellets pretty good, both to the left and to the right. The 25shot pellet group is probably 3.5inches across, with maybe 20 or so of them into about 1.75". The pellet group isn't anything amazing.

Pretty pleased with the slugs. 32fpe is relatively low power to be putting 25 consecutive shots into groups like that at 100 yards.

These look pretty good to me Cole; especially for a .20 cal in moderate wind at 100Y with an 18g slug. Before reading through this thread, I never would have envisioned a 32 FPE air rifle shooting low weight pellets or slugs could manage these good groups at 100y. The two 25 shot slug groups are really tight. The vertical is pretty good also.

Looks like most of pellets were pushed left, with your dead center hold. Still, 20 pellets inside 1.75” with a 15.89!

It would be interesting to see a side by side 25-shot group comparison between the Thomas .22 cal /40g slug and the BRK .20 /18.9g at 100y. You may have posted this already.

Before reading through this thread, I never would have envisioned a 32 FPE air rifle shooting low weight pellets or slugs could manage these good groups at 100y. Id be interested in seeing how tight of a 100 yard group Mike could shoot with this .20 slug rig. With his wind reading skills, I think groups shot by him from this barrel/slug combo would be borderline unbelievable.

Id be interested in seeing how tight of a 100 yard group Mike could shoot with this .20 slug rig. With his wind reading skills, I think groups shot by him from this barrel/slug combo would be borderline unbelievable.

Pretty darn good with 15.89 .20 cal pellets.

As long as I’m not fighting bad winds I can get sub 1” groups with my .22 cal Panthera all the time. I’ve proved on my channel that I can get .5” 5 shot groups at 100y with my panthera untuned and slugs I’ve altered consistently as well. With the 4 test groups I did I had all 4 5shot groups under 1” and the test slug groups went .37”, .51”, .52” and .83”and I was effectively able to almost eliminate all the fliers which is what messed up the .83” group otherwise it would of been in the .5” range as well. Finding the right slug/ speed combo with your riflings make all the difference. There are some other things you can do to help your cause. But the faster you can achieve stability the better results you will see at the target. At least that’s my thought behind it.
