Other The elusive LGU

Found this just now. Only $550 Aus. If I had room in my safe I’d buy it in a heart beat but my safe only holds 4 rifles and I don’t want anymore then four. I’d have to trade one. I’m not going to trade my LGV Challenger or my Hw77 Stainless or my Hw50S. The only one left is my Benjamin Titan.
Oh well

I own a lgu....I'd have chucked the benjamin right out of the safe!🤣
The Titan was my first air rifle since I was a boy. I spent a lot of time transforming it into a very reliable accurate hunter and plinker. Some of the transformations were, trigger bearing, lightly polishing of the sear, new stronger indent spring, new brass pivot washers, new breach seal, new piston seal and finally a Gamo gas piston that calmed it down to 700 ftps shooting 14.6 grain FTTs. It was a lot of fun working on it and watching the change after each improvement. So I feel like it’s part of my family.
Actually it won third place in the 100 yard golf ball long ranger competition a few years back.
I have my LGV so I’ve thought about it and I’ll keep the four I have, maybe next time.

I would have probably kept it too then. Thought it was just another regular benjamin. That being said...I'd have a bigger safe coming!🤣

I have a friend (sort of ) we know each other but only see at the range sometimes , He has a custom built house , nothing fancy or large . What is custom about it is the basement ! the basement was extended to the front of the front porch , another 9 feet and that 9 feet has a cement roof which is under the porch . looks like he poured a slab to cover the dirt . The basement support wall is under the front wall of the house like normal except it has a vault door that leads you into the gun room under the front porch , a 8 by 35 foot room under the front porch . Only cost him 12 K extra when building the house . vault door was extra $$
