It looks like plastic to me, but it was said in another thread that it's metal. I'd assume aluminum. If that's the case, it should be durable.

Personally, I'm more concerned with the shot count than how it looks or what it's made of. I haven't seen the shot count posted anywhere yet, but I can't justify paying that much for any gun if I'll have to refill it every twenty shots.

Out of curiosity, why such a stickler for a massive shot count ?
You can attach a small bottle to your belt, if it's a woods walking thing ! Then you'll have most of the day air available .
Me, when it's time, I really don't care if I get 50 shots or 150 shots. When the cylinder is low, I just stop for five minutes and refill the gun, and go back to shooting.

Never owned a ED gun, After shooting over 500 shots on my 177 Uragan , I said that's it I will only buy bottle guns,, I no I no never say never in this crazy sport, Its semi auto, Wow not sure I need another semi auto , Well let me think about that, Maybe if its not such a pain in the AS to load ,, I am going to look in to it, Whats it called a Fenix.... We will see..

Refilling really isn't that big of a deal. I like to get 3-4 mags out of a gun before I refill. I'm usually just shooting in the backyard with my kid. While I'm filling his gun, he'll shoot mine. So if the shot count is too low, I get mine back half empty and feel like I'm spending more time filling than shooting. If it gets 30 shots to a fill, that's probably plenty.
