FX The FX DRS, what do you guys think?

After having toyed with several cheap PCPs, I've finally decided to get the FX DRS 500mm, .177 4.5 cab (.22 and above is restricted in my country) tomorrow. Although I've watched quite a lot of reviews on Youtube, I just want to make sure I'm not making the wrong decision here. Another option is a used Dreamline Compact old model, but I find the barrel a tad short at 300mm. Another is the Impact M2, used too, which I find appealing but the model a bit old. So, with my budget, it seems the DRS is my best bet. It'd be really appreciated if you guys could help me out here and let me know if I'm heading on the right path. Thanks!

Stay with the DRS. The other two guns being used have unknown histories.
Just to be honest, I am not a fan of buying used air guns.

I think the Dreamline Classic in a Walnut stock is a really good option also for around the same price, there are still some new ones at some dealers or at least there were a couple montha ago. Plus doesnt have the ugly magazine looking plenum hanging under it. Only disadvantage is power maybe going to the DRS.

What do I think? I think I want one! Never owned an FX, the DRS just might be my first, the price is right and it looks great,but I really don’t have plans to buy anything new for awhile so we’ll see.

I own 2, DRSC 22 700 and a DRSP 25 700.

Of the 3 rifles you listed definitely get the DRS.

The DRS is a solid, simple, lightweight and accurate rifle.

I like the idea of a DRS in .177. I don’t own one but if I did that would be my caliber of choice. The lower air volume would be really mitigated by shooting the lighter weight projectiles of .177. I really like the new tactical version that FX just released. Looks to me like a really fun silhouette rifle.. I think you would be making a wise choice getting any DRS model in .177.

The DRS has a lot of neat design choices and about a third as many orings as my Impact. I have to admit I am tempted to sell something to justify buying a walnut 600mm in 22Cal.
