There is one video I could find on YouTube and it was impressive. I agree I don’t understand for a second Skout’s lack of marketing approach to this gun. Mind boggling.

I really wanted an Epoch a year ago but couldn't quite stretch to the price here in the UK at the time being a pensioner, so I bought the Daystate Alpha Wolf instead which gave me a lot of trouble to start, that will teach me!
Trying to save again to get the Epoch, fantastic guns and I love the technology, time will tell.

Yes, the Epoch was £2,800-900 and the Alpha Wolf was £2.180 should have held out for the Epoch.

I was probably unlucky as the first AW went back to the supplier with accuracy issues and the second was the same so instead I persevered and polished the barrel as it had a very tight choke and also another tight spot, I also made it a new pellet probe as the STD one didn't engage the pellet fully into the rifling, now done a lot of work on the AW, and it now shoots fine and I did try and get in touch with Daystate but received no reply to my enquiry.

The director of the Edgan company said 9in video youtube) in an interview that LW barrels are not of high quality. He made orders for several hundred thousand dollars from LW and there were defective batches. He said that the barrels are made of soft steel. LW gets its steel from Italy and the quality of this steel is mediocre. He often returned defective products to LW. Another problem is that LW uses forged steel barrels and after processing the bore has different diameters, which negatively affects accuracy. Choke partially corrects this, but ....
I have enough money to buy an expensive rifle. I am considering buying a RED PANDA or EVO or PANTHER. But I am horrified that the quality of the barrels of these expensive rifles can be very bad.
