Huben The GK1 has ruined me...

Yup, me tooI was playing around this weekend and did some thinking...when is the last time I shot an airgun not a GK1.
It's been a bit...I looked at the Panthera a couple weeks ago. De-cased it and wiped it down...thought about shooting it...grabbed a GK1 instead...manically laughed as I emptied a whole magazine into a piece of steel at 50y. Yesterday, wanted to shoot the kyl I have at 35y...grabbed a GK1 that I threw an immersive optics on instead and had way too much fun. Then since the sun was hitting the kyl, pulled out the thermal GK1 and plinked away.
Yeah...this air 'pistol' has ruined other airguns for me...

I just started to get into airguns from regular firearms. Nothing exotic. In less than a year - Figure every one should have a 1322; then let’s try the 2240 for variety; then how about a Beeman P1 as that’s a classic. Don’t need a pcp…but let’s try the p-rod anyway with a buck rail folding stock and hand pump. GK1 seems interesting…got a .22. Shot that and whoa 
! Got a second GK1 .25 right after, then a Yong Heng compressor, then a Great White tank, then a GX CS4. The GK1s are addictive and I now have to consciously decide to shoot the other ones, including my other firearms Upvote 0

I have a V1 and a V3. I prefer the V1, but I'm right handed. I have no desire for any of the offered modifications or accessories. It is perfect right out of the box.I'd add:
E) The GK1 looks really really good.
➠ Whereas the Huben K1 has two ugly spots I just can't get over (for the price tag is has):
▪ The unsightly barrel band (like a cheapo PCP).
▪ The uneven cheek rest that appears misinstalled as it not quite parallel to the barrel.
Since the GK1 receives so many updates, in such a short time — maybe the K1 could use an update, too, at least an aesthetic update....
(And while you're at it, how about using the space the long barrel affords — in order to make the air tube longer for more shots?
And how about offering .30cal and .35cal to make use of so much power...?)

To be more specific: It ruined my financial planning. I wasn't going to blow that much money so soon — maybe 2025....
Well, I've stopped one step short of the big black hole labeled "financial ruin."
But you know how progress and advancement goes. Tomorrow, I might be one step ahead!!

I'm just glad I always avoided buying a small bore pcp pistol until the gk1 so I could buy once cry once although I traded a bunch of slugs for about 1/3 of its price. Same with the k1s. My first pcp true love

Not liking to store any of my airguns loaded, it's still faster picking up my PP700 if I have to take a quick single shot .

I leave one chamber empty and line it up with the barrel, ....lift the mag release turn the drum close the mag release and in a couple seconds total I'm ready to shoot.

Don't get me wrong I can easily do this, as I'm a revolver guy, just no need in leaving any pellets in any airguns for me, personally.
So grabbing the PP700 works best for me in this situation, it's not a speed issue per say.

Though I love my BRKs, the Artemis pp700sa was my number one rat killer. It was a solid performer, should have held on to it…

These are the reasons I purchased one. I was worried about the accuracy part the most and the trigger second. Both seem to be excellent out of the box. Going to the range tomorrow to take it for a spin.
