Got 3 today. 2 were out of airgun range and had to use my .204. This one was taken at 40 yards with my .25 WAR ROD and a single jsb king to the head. The shot knocked it off a log and into the water. That would be the reason for its drenched appearence!!
I've got one tearing up my backyard but, I have yet to see it. The air rifle sits by the door just waiting for the chance until then, I've been improving my skills with birds.
Nice shot, looks like he caught all of that JSB! They sure are out, and they are (were) after my shed! Big guy was taken at 26 yds. and the much smaller spring newbie was taken @ 44 yds. I'm still filling the holes up...
Smacked this little one in my neighbor's yard from about 25 yards. Good shot that anchored it right where you see it. While not an impressive distance, I'm proud of the stalk: had to low crawl about 10 yards, utilizing a small rose bush and some flowers for concealment. Then had to reposition to sit upright, aim and squeeze off the shot. Little bugger never knew what hit it...Q: "what do you think was the last thing that went through that groundhog's mind?" A: "A JSB Exact 15.89gr dome!"
Excellent work in the field all three of you! I can't wait to get out hunting again. Mentolio, may I ask what rifle you were using in the above picture? Cheers!
White.Death: Benjamin Discovery in .22, TKO Muzzle break, UTG 3-12x44 SWAT compact scope. All stock with the exception of doing a "three-screw trigger mod" with some polishing of the trigger bits that were actually metal
Thank you Mentolio! Looks like a great gun and I've been going back and fourth between what gun I should get. It's between the Ben. Discovery, M-Rod, or one of the Ben. Trail NP's.
