HW/Weihrauch The hw44 - how’s it aged?

This pistol has been out for years. Early models had occasional issues with sear engagement. Has this gun been updated or refined since then? If so, please elaborate. I’m very interested, but want to know is same issues still persist. Thanks!

Well I had one about 5 years ago in .177 and recently purchased a new one a few months ago. Both seem to operate the same with no issues. Excellent pistol.

I have owned one for three years. Great pistol. Excellent trigger and shot count. Shoots very flat. Very accurate with Baracuda Match .177 452's out to 55 yards.

Mine still shoots great 1.5 years of now occasional use. 1st shot always dead on, no issues whatsoever

I bought a used HW44 in 177 a couple months ago and now it's blowing air out around the magazine. Anyone had this issue with their 44? What was the fix? I assume it's the breech o-ring!! Is that part #28?? Any experience replacing this o-ring and exactly what o-ring it is? Any other thoughts other than the o-ring. I haven't attempted any fixes yet.

Not sure if it's #28 or not. Haven't been able to determine what the #28 o-ring is exactly. Don't know if the barrel needs to be removed or if there is access thru the magazine slot.
Any thoughts out there??

I'll agree with others here. Had one trigger issue in my second year, sent to AoA for warranty repair and has been flawless ever since. One of a couple guns I will never get rid of.

I have 2 and they are pretty awesome. I was very critical of the mag design when I’d first bought one, then I bought two, so that tells you my overall impression. They also look as well as they perform-which, within the airgun community, only a few like Weihrauch, Edgun, BRK, and a few select others can claim.
