The Slug Power Kit did not play well with what I consider very conservative barrel porting and shoved the slugs down into the port. So, I reinstalled my original pellet probe and decided just to use the new valve spring, that comes in the kit, and do some tuning. I managed to get some regular .5 and 1 inch five shot 100 yard groups going towards the end of my first tuning session. There were several more but figured someone would cry foul if I just circled groups among so many other holes in the target put there by a friend of mine so this is all you get. I was shooting the NSA 36.2 HP at 960-975 fps with my Gen1 Impact with a 700mm slug A liner installed. Only time will tell if it can get any better than it was before I drilled out the valve adjuster screw to install the spring from the kit. But it is looking pretty promising at the moment as I am very near where I was before the great and Infamous Slug Power Kit came around.

Most groups were similar in size unless the wind got them 3 to 7 MPH today. No breaks in the wind today it just kept blowing. I was aiming at the bullseye on both targets the wind did the poi change.
In all honesty though I don't believe this kit was made with the gen1 guns in mind. More like for an unmodified gen2 with the power plenum would be my guess.
Edit; A dual port transfer port would alleviate any of the problems I had.
