Tuning The Kratos is goin full diesel today

this gun has been a wall ornament long enough .. initial tests show promising accuracy, reach and power ... chrono has 14.3s steady at 950ish down in the 2300 area with the out of box tune so ima see if the reg will be stable there, markings only go to 150b .. any input on that situation would be appreciated id like to use it, its cool hardware but dont want to sacrifice power ... so lots a work to do, changing scopes and want to finish the stock and likely will need to fit the stock to the bottle from what ive read .. big strap wrench and a hefty whack was a necessity to get the bottle loose from the adapter as a side note ..

ok, it back to operational with the new bottle and reg and initial testing .. went pretty smooth on the install, learned a couple things .. my bottle is .5L and fit with no mods to the stock, its tight but the stock scew tightens up right as its putting slight prrssure on the bottle, im calling it titties lol .. also 'indexing' thr bottle and gauges etc always had a question if i could leave things with orings not quite cinched up, maybe backed off an 1/8th or 1/4 to get them straight without problems, that worked ...

..as far as operation my BIG question was could i open up the reg past spec a bit to stay on full power, and that worked .. figured the marked hash marks on the reg to put it where 24-2500 'should' be .. i hit 26, its a guessing game .. its a wee bit high but seems to hold steady .. next time i get the bottle low or have the yum hinger going i'll try to teeak it closer to 24 ...

so things are all good so far, its quieter to that was unexpected, i think the reg is acting sortof like a depinger .. i was like i know somerhings wrong, but nope, chrono says its spothefrick on heheh .. still want to finish the stock and get a better scope on but thats another day .. time for daddy to eat and get ready for date night lol ..

Nice rifle, I had one for a brief moment. Spent most of its life in the safe. I do mostly offhand shooting and it was a little cumbersome that way for me. IIRC it was shooting right around 840 fps with 25.4 grain pellets, mine was a 25 obviously. Good luck with it!
