I have been shooting slugs in my .177 Daystate rifles for 3 years now and they are very capable
What accuracy do you get with 20grain ZANs @ +100 meter?

Can you find buyers for first born's? Going rate? I would have settled for take over payments.I would love one however I will have to sell my first born to afford it

chippies are tough little critters . Hate the stock , maybe they offer Walnut lefty ?
Shooting them at 100 metres and getting 10 shot groups around MOA
A friend of mine shoots them out to 193 metres with his Delta Wolf .177 HP hitting soda cans

Beautiful air rifle, really like how the bronze plays off the colors in the stock. I wasn't to sure about the Safari stocks when they came out, but once I saw and held one in person, I like them a lot... well done...

Yes the price is definitely scary but any new technology will be expensive at first. I'm sure as the years pass the price will go down so we can afford it.

depends on what you consider budget friendly. Will they ever be under $1000 no but they do go down in price once something new comes out. Maybe when the alpha wolf 2 comes out ?Upvote 0
If I were the owner of Daystate I would immediately start producing a valve like the Skout Epoch has!

This is not a joke, this is a serious matter, Epoch opens the valve much easier than Daystate, which means it consumes 100 times less energy to open the valve, you can set the time for how long the valve will be open with an adjustment of half a millisecond, the flow through the valve is much better and that the flow is adjusted for all calibers separately. The regulator can be reduced under pressure without damage, which is not the case with Daystate. Those are huge differences!!! I should also emphasize that Daystate has been working for years on quality and innovations that no one has, their electronics (which are significantly more expensive than Epoch), digital pressure gauge, chronograph, barrels.
Skout produces their barrels from aluminum by extrusion with coatings, which is much cheaper to produce than steel barrels, and we'll just see how it will turn out...
