Skout The new Epoch Compact?

It seems the Epoch compact lacks the depressurise knob and uses the industry STD bottle, so does anyone know what's changed? Have Skout changed the type of O rings used in the gun as I was under the impression that poly O rings were not long-lived under pressure and would take set and stay distorted, and so if this is the case can the Epoch and the Evo be converted so we don't need to turn them off when not in use for a couple of weeks, or keep replacing the bottle O ring.

Thanks! But does the gun still need to be degassed if not used for more than two weeks or so, and can this new bottle be retrofitted to the original Epoch and avoid the constant changing of O rings in the bottle valve?
You’re asking the wrong dude. I ordered one but I know nothing more than what I was told. The gun I ordered will take a brand X bottle valve bottle. But if I had the big boy Epoch, I’d be asking the same question. I plan to degas mine when not in use. No biggie because that’s how they designed it to function. If they are capable of designing a gun from nothing, I’m sure they could have made it so it held air indefinitely like other PCP’s. But they didn’t so I will trust their method of madness.
