Want a 30 cal strictly pellet gun . Based on my observations and feelings it’s been narrowed to these 3 . Kalibrgun cricket 2 tactical, uragan 2 , and maverick. Appreciate all feedback. But please, give me objectivity, not ego. Thanks friends.

I’d go with the Kalibrgun C2 tact. A high quality rifle that’s less complicated than the Maverick. And it’s available right now. It’ll probably be awhile before you can get your hands on a U2…….Also, I saw a post the other day about a guy that makes sweet aftermarket stocks for the Cricket 2.

My vote is for the Maverick .30 Sniper. I got mine about a year ago and I absolutely love it. It’s a big a—tack driver, is very accurate and easy enough to tune that even a newbie like me can do it.

AGT won me over with the quality, ergonomics and accuracy of my recently purchased Uragan .25 (Synthetic) Standard, hope they repeat the magic. Also, if I didn't already own an FX Wildcat MK3 .30 Sniper, I'd be looking at the new bottle version one, for sure. WM

I looked into all of those also. I haven’t 100% made my mind up, but the cricket is super heavy and has a finicky mag system. The U2 really doesn’t have much different over the original except the assisted valve, and theyre having issues sourcing the barrels. The maverick is tried and true, is a known tack driver, and is available now. Plus aftermarket support and adjustability is much higher. I’ve been trying to veer away from FX for a while now, but after trying multiple other brands, I always find myself sneaking back. I have a dreamline, crown mk2, and the logical next step is a maverick.

Uragan 2 is already available at Talón Tunes in all alternatives.
There are a lot of comments in regard of trouble with the Maverick.
At least in regard of the magazines the Airgun Technology rifles are above of KalibrGun. At least.

I’m going to vote for the U2. If you don’t like it, I’m sure there is someone willing to trade you a nice Maverick Sniper for it.
For whatever reason the resell value on the Cricket doesn’t seem that great so you might be able to pick up a used one for a good deal if you don‘t mind going that route.

Twist rates are completely different between the U2 - and the cricket tactical .. the cricket is more suited for pellets n the U2 is better for slugs..I think the recent Derek wall..win 42 from 42 with 50g jsb..is a testament of what the cricket could do..

A good rifle is not just the one that makes you win a competition, a good rifle gives accuracy and reliable service for many years without giving trouble.
I had a FX Bobcat .30 Cal that was EXTREMLY accurate and ended in the waste basket. I had to send it to get fixed one time after another.

His question was, which between the two n why n asked for reasons.. one is more designed for pellets the other for slugs.. both are to me great both have the same quality.. I choose uragans one of each caliber because I wanted to shoot slugs. He wanted to shoot pellets.. uragan twist is 1-15 + .. cricket is 1-20+.. about reliability I use 10 year old cricket for pellet duty n still going strong.. as for FX I have never purchased one n probably never will.. please limit your self to help..this is not a debate..

Really no .. but as far in data they are supposed to be power wise the same.. same tuning capability .. and the are supposed to have a way better trigger for the U2..me personally prefer the uragan ergonomics the best.

Something in .177cal that will deliver 40 ft/ibs with 20grain slugs with sub inch @ 100yards. Must be rifletype look and a proven system. No barrel experiments wanted. Must deliver out-of-the-box.
