@Mo-Ron Damn good shooting there from a springer @ 50 yards.
Sometime i dont. I just need dont more often . Like in one of them challenges that one just ruins it when the chips are down . Like this i used in another thread i can live with but you just cant count on a no flier group or run . Odds are stacked with cphp..lol.

Like this challenge target i can count on one of the 8 going stray . Maybe i need fancy mail order pellets. ( It's raining so i did not shoot a fresh to show)

Lol... I figure if i could shoot 5 i should hit 8 ..😉
Shoot the 8, count the 5 best and the rest were for "sighting" in. ;)

Well went out before it starts raining for some 2ed cup first shots tries. Bit of left right / tail wind at 50y opensight to see how its looking right off the bat.

The high right one i shanked (fyi). Tried to force a bad hold.. 12 shots ( still cant figure out how to count to 10).. thinking im getting lax in my hold overall .

@Mo-Ron Do you ever do any type of visual sorting? Like separating pellets with dinged up skirts.
No.. as is as i pick one out of the tin randomly.. but i can "feel". As i put them in the leade how its going to hit somewhat. Ive shot them near exclusively for so long now (cphp) it's about a natural know.

Ya.... I tried all that back when and can to its not eorth it overall.. now if it looks the tin got a bit more trash/ dirty i will wash and lube . Now of it was a trophy, championship, money , or prizes involved id probably make more effort in sizing or choice of pellets.
Then i dont have the nimble fingers or close up sharp eyes as i did when i was 20..lol.

My sister goes to big town on occasion and she goes to a sporting goods store. That " use to" handle better brand pellets other than what walmart has but now a days thay dont anymore , same as Walmart . ( At a higher price).

This fun cheap to do hobby is becoming a expensive joke. When buying a common tin of pellets is a hassle that s when you inow its over.

Fun and cheap woulda been a $100 Crosman or something from the same Walmart you get your $6.24 a tin CPHP's from. You tossed cheap out the window when you dropped $400+ for the Beeman R9...lol.
Lol.... Swap crosman for gamo and you nailed it..😜..

Looking at todays pricing that $400 looks toward the cheap.

You will usually find that the "bad" Crosman pellet in the group is undersized. Throw those out, and you'll likely see an improvement with the fliers.

Back in the not-very-far-away day we had the Crosman Premiers in the boxes, and I never found them to have any problems. I still have a few thousand and nothing else has ever worked better in my Weihrauchs.
