Air Venturi The Original $349 Avenger PCP Rifle (Full Review)

If the “X” can outshoot this it will be worth the money. If not then I’ll pass. That was done in the wind with CHP’s. Busted a clay bird at 140yds the same day. I do like the looks of the new bullpup though …

Nice video Nate. Back to the ol Yong Heng
I’m hopeful that Air Venturi will develop a compact model to compete in that market.
The magic formula is a Yong Heng that only pumps up guns. It will last forever. I had my last one for almost 2 years, then I tried to pump up an SCBA tank and it blew it up. A gun takes 1-3 minutes max. I was running it for 4 minutes at a time with 30 min breaks to get the SCBA tank up to 4500 psi, but one time I ran it for 5 minutes and that was it.
I recomend a $250 Yong Heng if you can keep it to your gun only and make sure you get the PCP Moisture filter. For sale here:

Nice group! Not trying to be smart, but I think the Avenge X would have no problem doing that. I got the wood one and it's very solid on the bench. Very smooth, very accurate.

That’s what I use, 100% molecule sieve in the filter. I don’t shoot as much as you. I’ve used the yong heng every few months to fill a Great White. I have a dive shop that will fill me to 4k and I top it off with the yong heng.
I try to direct fill the rifles when I can.
Now that I have all cylinder rifles it doesn’t take long.

I've been filling two 30 minute scba tanks for years with them and had only a few small problems.

I also exclusively use my YH to fill my 45 minute SCBA tank. I bought it in April of 2021 so it is almost 30 months old and still running strong. I had to replace an O-ring on the pump once and put O-rings in the filters but no other trouble. I run the YH for 15-20 minutes each time to raise the tank from about 3200 to 300 bar. I have a radiator and fan on it to help it stay cool. Typically it only gets to about 62 C to fill the tank. I have used Nuvair oil exclusively. I think good oil is a must. I do about a tank fill a month. That's good for 10-15 gun fills. If I get busy with the airguns I might fill twice but if I get busy on other projects I might skip a month. Guns are filled out of the tank. No noise and very fast.

My "original" Avenger in both .22 and .177 were purchased around 2020-2021 for $300.
My Nova Liberty .22 (my most accurate air gun) and .177 equal in accuracy to the Avenger were purchased around the same time for $200-$250.
My Nova Liberty and Avenger, manufactured by the same company, are the most accurate air guns I have at 50-70 yards.

The Avenger X seems to be fluff, just like the Diana EMS (who remembers that?).
Much Ado about Nothing as Shakespeare would say.
