Got it set up and everything was spot on. Went out the next morning and but it on the bench rest and shot at splatter burst at 50 Yds. I couldn't tell where I was hitting, although I hearde it, but the target had pretty well used up. Replaced that target and went after a fresh one. I couldn't believe I was hitting 8" low and 3" left. Now that I had a clean target I got on the turrets and moved things around until POI was same as POA. Decided to shoot a 4 shot group and see how it went. Shot 3 was again way off and to the different side this time. I had this happen before and sent my scope to Hawke and they returned a new one and said the one I sent in was defective. I took the scope off and started getting ready to mount a different one and a brain cell fired. This happened before with other rifles and cleaning the barrel cured it. It cured i here also. The strange thing is I did clean it when I got it and have only put maybe 2 tins of pellets through it. Different rifles are more sensitive to clean than others. What I am wondering is the Prophet one of those rifles that need regular barrell cleaning to keep it on target? Any one else chime in and describe what they have found.
