Hello,

I'm Walid from Tunisia, and this is my first post on this fabulous forum.

Yesterday I bought my dream gun : Daystate huntsman regal XL .22 at 40fpe (it's not regulated) it comes with the daystate reflex moderator (I'll buy a Dannyfl one) 

I wanted a beautiful and powerful gun.

It's supposed to deliver 15 usable shots witch is good for me since I'm a hunter. 

I made a quick test yesterday 5 shots at 41 yards (the limit of my home range) with N&H barracuda much 21.14 gr. I topped it with a Hawke 3-9x40 AO 

1. 908,1 fps ----- 39,2 fpe

2. 919,7 fps---- 40,2 fpe

3. 919,3 fps ---- 40,1 fpe

4. 919,1 fps ---- 40,1 fpe

5. 917,4 fps ---- 40 fpe

Average speed : 916,7 fps

Avearge energy : 39,9 fpe

ES : 11,6

I have a Regal in .22 topped with a Hawke Vantage 3-9 and shoots JSB 15.9 and !8.1's accurately at 30 foot pounds, The Huntsman is the best looking PCP made, had mine for five hears now and not one single issue, accurate as can be. Best walking around hunter made. Put a Donny FL Tatsu on the end and you will be amazed how quiet it is.

Loren : I didn't make any changes to the rifle. For the huntsman regal xl there is two version the 30 fpe (gives 30 to 40 shot, I already have a .22 one ) and the 40 fpe (gives 15 to 20 good shot depending of the distance and the pellet) .

The reason that I bought this one is :

1. I love the old style carbine rifles, the weight (only about 6 pounds), the power, the accuray. I'll use it for beond 75 yards (where is the most of my shooting).

2. I offred last week my new fx impact. 22 to my 14 years old daughter as a birthday gift (she is my hunting mate since she was 8)

Great gun! I have the 30fp model and Donny FL sumo. If you want to avoid scratching your gun I’d recommend getting some self adhesive rap off of amazon. 6$ to protect your 1000$ gun on hunting trips is worth it.

It’s a .22 cal. Works great! If you have the thread attachment that the reflex( the moderator) that came with the gun it will attach perfectly. I believe it’s 1/2x 20 UNF.
