Thats just the tip of the iceberg too. Wait until you discover the discontinued ones that are even better and prettier than the ones still made. I thought I had shot a lot of amazing springers and then I got my hands on an old Diana 75 from the 80s. I seriously doubt I'll ever handle another new springer that makes my jaw drop like that one. Maybe a Running Boar or Whiscombe if I ever get that lucky....Sooooo many pretty babies.
Glad I joined this site!
Will pass it on to my gun club.
I think I like the black accents better...Just so you know the new 98 stocks lost all the black accents and now match the stock. There's pictures of them on here somewhere.
I was fortunate enough to happen upon a well cared for Diana 75 a few years ago, and gave it a new home. Well worth the investment.Thats just the tip of the iceberg too. Thats gorgeous! Its unfortunate they're no longer made. People that have never handled one really don't know what they're missing. I shot a 0.21", 5 shot group with mine at 25m last weekend using just the peep sights. I plan on using it for bench rest matches this winterI was fortunate enough to happen upon a well cared for Diana 75 a few years ago, and gave it a new home. Well worth the investment.

from one retiree to another just get both saves on shipping and ordering twice .Now that I have the time (retirement) to spend, I've been looking into the higher end line of springers.
I feel that I deserve a quality Xmas present and believe the Weihrauch line would fit the bill quite nicely.
The only problem - which one?
From incessant watching videos and researching online, I've narrowed my choice down to the HW97KT or HW98.
Arrgh! The sickness has me, I may just get both
I came to the same conclusion.from one retiree to another just get both saves on shipping and ordering twice .
NICE!I was fortunate enough to happen upon a well cared for Diana 75 a few years ago, and gave it a new home. Well worth the investment.
I bought it from a client. He was a competitive shooter who was pretty successful in 10m at the state level back in the late 80's or early 90's. Got to take it home and shoot it extensively, decided to buy it the first night I shot it. I recently re-built and re-sealed it. I'm a retired gunsmith and I've worked on some complex guns in my time, but the 75 was a unique challenge. Got my hands on the factory service manual, and some members here pointed me towards some good tutorial vids, so it went pretty smoothly. A recoilless springer. Amazing engineering.NICE!
Did you have a chance to inspect it or did you buy it online outright?
there is still one problem buying two ................................. which am i going to shoot first ! and then do i stop and shoot the other one or keep shooting this one . Just because we are retired we still have major problems !!from one retiree to another just get both saves on shipping and ordering twice .
