Fathers Day photo challenge! 

Now nearing 70 Dad has slowed down quite a bit, mostly because of Parkinson's disease. But he still knows great barbecue when he tastes it!

30min outside Battle Mountain, Nevada. Taken on Friday during the pistol ft match. The gentleman to the right is John Knapp, an OG in the field target game.

While not my father he could be considered a founding father of FT on the west coast.

A more recent picture, unfortunately dad had a stroke in 2002. We did a lot of shooting (firearms) in his time, but I didn’t start airgunning until about 4 years ago. Otherwise, I know he would be shooting airguns with me now.

Dad, back in the mid 50's when he was colluding with the Russians? LOL......No, he was US Army Military Police stationed in Anchorage Alaska. I do love the hat though! Last pic is this February with dad now at 85 years old taking his last chemo treatment for lung cancer. He's had a hard time recovering from it, but is finally getting his appetite back. He's still my hero!

Here’s another picture of Sketchy the raccoon, he comes almost everyday just before dawn to eat cat food. He’s caught red handed with his paw in the cookie jar. lol! And right behind him on my 17 yard target is a large skunk. Sketchy gets a pass, but not the skunks. My neighbor recently got sprayed on her back porch as she was coming out the door. I think that would pretty much wreck my day!
