Whoa, just whoa! You blow me away every time you post pictures of the air guns in your collection. It just always seems to get better and better! I really like the looks of the Sirocco in the first picture, then I scrolled down to the bottom picture. I have to agree with Lewis, the wood on the MKIV is just stupendous!!! You’ve got the best springer collection I’ve ever seen and I certainly haven’t seen it all. It’s not how many you have, which is obviously substantial, it’s how beautiful they all are! Every time I see some of your springers it takes me back to my youth, almost 39 years ago to the day, when I got my first Beeman for my 11th Birthday. I had so much fun with that Beeman, day in and day out for years!

Thanks again for sharing some of your beautiful guns!

Just found a Sirocco deluxe....last quarter of 1982 production. Probably a BSA trigger. The scope mounts seem to be a little different from yours.

No, it's a Webley Omega inspired trigger. Very good trigger units. Crisp. Probably a Webley barrel as well on a 1982 Theoben.. Later Siroccos got an Anschutz barrel. Mike's is definitely later with the sloped back where the fill valve is. And fixed scope base. I have a Theoben dovetail adapter for that permanent base around here somewhere (NFS)..

I never could understand why they had that option. Prometheus sabot pellets were never exactly a big hit even in UK. I read on UK forums. that they leave a lot of fowling in a standard barrel. I never heard of another airgun manufacturer making a barrel for them. I still have some Prometheus pellets I bought in the 80's.

Does the gun shoot accurately with lead pellets? Is it an Anschutz barrel?

I think I saw that gun sell on Gunbroker a year or two ago.

Other than the barrel it's a standard pre HE Sirocco Deluxe.

Correct, it is same as a Sirocco with an Anschutz barrel with no choke. I find that it shoots fine with the lead pellets I use, but haven't tried many different types. I have some Prometheus steel pellets coming so I will see if I notice any difference. This gun has never been on Gunbroker. It was brought from England by an Englishman who emigrated to Canada a number of years ago. He was a member at the same shooting club as my neighbor. When he decided to leave Canada he sold it to my neighbor.

I have this Crow Magnum that sat in the closet for years. Yesterday I decided to take out the 'Master Blaster' and to my dismay when I went to cock it the air wooshed out of the cylinder. I quickly fired off the pellet and cocked it again but all the air is out of it and won't fire of course. Anyone know how to remedy this situation? Thank you!
