I recently purchased a very nice Theoben Eliminator from Tyler with CT Airguns at the Baldwinsville airgun show this past weekend. We settled upon a fair price and I was aware of the issues with the gun when I agreed to the purchase.
The ram itself needs to be either resealed, replaced or refilled as it does not generate much power, nor does it require much effort at all to cock the rifle. Also, there's evidence that the piston seal is shot due to the presence of pieces of it lodged in the transfer port.
From what I can gather, I'll need to purchase an adaptor which will allow me to connect a high pressure pump to the ram in order to determine if it will hold pressure.
So, I know that I need seals, and I may need a new ram. Has anyone got a source for these parts?
Thanks in advance;
