A few months back I picked up a hard case during a sale @ Cabelas ($149). It's made by Boyt but Cabelas slapped their label on it. 

Looking pretty go so far

I think I'll add a spot for a magazine, range finder, & maybe a tin.

Michael I have a question for you. After you cut that foam out, how much foam is under the gun protecting it? I would love to do that but my hard cases foam has the dimples and it isn't very thick. Thanks for any info.

This particular case has about 1.5" on top & bottom & 2" in the center.
