Think about this before you click submit

I won't comment on plain rudeness, or uneducated snarky remarks. But I know with my personality a face to face conversation comes across quite differently then in text (especially in forums like this one) Body language and gestures play a big part in conversation. I have a personality that combines sarcasm, humor, some "knowledge"

If you have been on this forum long enough you get to know some of the members style of writing, Very logical, humorous, kind, very well educated, etc. If some come across Brash or confrontational it's not always their intention?

I’ve noticed some people are quick to jump on a guy because he typed something that doesn’t make sense or incoherent, etc. I think to myself what might this person be going through that their words are not coming out right. Alzheimer’s, dementia, some other mental disorder causing cognitive decline. You never know what the man behind the keyboard is going through. Don’t be so quick to throw the stone, because someday the stone might be cast your way. Few people are impervious to the disorders that afflict us as we age. Enjoy your days of a clear mind and may those days last as long as your heart beats

This sounds like some thing Jesus would contribute to the forum... Love it!

Rudyard Kipling, a great writer and poet, once said: "I have six hard working men, and they taught me all I know...their names are "Who", "What", "Where", "When", "How" and "Mo"...

Yeah! I'm fairly certain that's what he said! I don't know why he said it, as I wasn't there at the time, at least I don't remember being there.

It seems like usually I can figure out what someone is trying to say even if it’s not grammatically correct, and if the person has a hard time getting a point across it definitely won’t help to give them a hard time about it. I think it shows the shallowness of the person who is giving them a hard time about something like spelling or grammar. It’s a forum not a spelling bee lol!

Me too. I have a friend that says 'Madonna' instead of 'McDonalds'. My listening skills got creative.
