Crows decoy fairly easy.I use a owl decoy and aa half dozen crow decoys .I use a fox pro call with several crow calls uploaded .when You get a response to your calling keep an eye out for a single crow .This is a scout kill him and You will get the whole flock of crows who will be pissed off at the owl that has killed their comrade.A couple of well camouflaged hunters should be able to kill several crows before spooking them.Then move a mile or so and do it again .the bird You asked about would work l guess but I would question their ability to hold up in a hunting environment.and are to costly.Crow decoys can be bought by the dozen for about fifty bucks .

I just saw them ant the first thought that popped in to my mind is I wonder if they would work, but i agree there are better more cost effective options for decoys.

I made my crow decoy's out of cardboard, just a silhouette spray painted gloss black and cloth hanger wire inserted to stick them in the ground, my owl decoy was/is a plastic replica. I shot hundreds of crows with a shotgun over these and quite a few with airguns. Crow breast makes a decent jerky.
