Thinking about about buying this budget thermal setup!

Hey guys,
anyone have tried this thermal setup,
for some under 40yds backyard shooting???
I don’t go out hunting at all..
so anyone wanna chime in is more than welcome.

I have one. I use it as a spotter when night hunting. Surprisingly clear for the price. App is easy to use, and it records straight to your phone. Haven’t tried it mounted on a rifle yet, but I have had it setup on a tripod to watch.

If you are planning on mounting this as a “through scope“ type of viewer, it will not work. Thermal sensors will not see through glass like a digital night sensor will. For the price I think you would be much better off getting a proper thermal monocular. I bet you could pick up something like a used agm taipan for roughly the same price.
