RTI Thinking of buying a Mora, compact

For any of you that actually own a Mora of some smaller caliber (under .25) version.

Per the title, I'm thinking of buying one, in .22. I know that these guns were more directly designed to shoot slugs.

My question, is, how are they at shooting pellets, in the 18 to 25 grain weights, at shorter distances, like up to 50 yrds. ?
I've done some searching, but nothing that directly relates comes up.

Another compact. How many do you have now??
No..."truth" to face ! All bought with a tape measure in mind ! Even though a few...have had to be shortened to meet the 30" max. length. See below.

This question directed at ...me ?

A...bunch.
Lets say that all, are under 30" long and are...of the bull pup design, but two. And one of two, non-bullpups is my sort of new, Brocock Sahara is also just 27.63" long.

I also have my eye on the Mora compact 22 as my next gun, But and I say but I may be a little slow and wait for the second generation to come out with all the bugs gone, I got burnt pretty bad on the Prophet ll with the barrel so I want to make sure everything is in order , Also I will never buy from a dealer over the pond as send backs or next to impossible ,, USA dealer only, Easy returns ,, Now don't get me wrong I love my Prophet ll , But I would have sent it back overseas in a heartbeat if I could in the beginning of the night mare ..

While I understand what you are saying, I don't necessarily buy into the "first generation" thing, never have. My two (long and compact) Prophet MkI's are doing fine...still. One did have a leak, but that was at the back, fill probe fitting. Simple fix.

And while I do buy into the "offshore" buying, I also have done that ! Though with a much...cheaper gun ! I guess I've been lucky. Talon Tunes has all of the Mora's in stock. Or they did a few days ago.

Thanks.

And why not just because it can do 100fpe , doesn’t mean I have too
True, but typically platforms built for higher power don't do so well at the lower power range. Kind of like how we try to push the limits of lower power rifles to shoot slugs at higher power than intended too. Just something to think about.

Mora is still on my radar but waiting for upgraded version. Hopefully, whatever bothers current owners about butt pad being addressed and ability to switch cocking lever to either side. WM
I would not hold my breath on the reversabel cocking lever. If they were going to do that, I suspect they would have done it long ago.
I am with you on the waiting for the next gen though. I never by the first run on a new product.

For me, I like mine on the left. It took less than two magazines to make me like left cocking a lot. But that's bench shooting.

RTI Mora will never be for me with left hand cocking so I'll stick with AGT. WM
