looking into .30 cal 500 -600mm barrel
was looking at Fx Brk but need to do some more research
looking to shoot 100-125 yds accurately and with something that is going to be reliable. next level up in quality built.
i was looking at the fx m3 std and compact along with some Brk brand never heard but was told they make a good gun?
any info on .30 rifles would be appreciated

No experience with the BRK whatsoever. But I've had 2 FX's in .30 a bobcat mk1 and a an impact mk2. As long as you know you're dope for either one, whatever you want to hit, it would hit it with authority. For a little cheaper I would recommend the Vulcan 3 .30 they're around $1500-$1600 also the Wildcat BT

Do a Ton of reading, then read some more when diving off into the deep end of "High End" guns.

Make sure there are parts, service, and the MOST important IMO, Customer Support...

I have been at this for some time, pretty much own, or have owned Every high-end gun there is, there were some that were Very disappointing in the forementioned areas i listed above...

When you spend this kind of money on these high-end guns. and ever need parts, or have a question about ANY part of a gun it is Mandatory that the manufacturer picks up the phone or I will Not buy their product

Trust the list is a LOT shorter than you might think.

I normally do not post in the "suggest a gun threads" but I would be doing you a dis-service if I did not mention Skout Airguns
My personal experience with ALL of the guys, and gals over there has been nothing but Exemplary

Most companies aren't in the US so I wouldn't expect many to answer. But I do expect all of them to answer an email, it's also important to know the dealer you are buying from.

Thanks for that much appreciated

Unless you have your mind set on a bull pup design, I would look really hard at a Panthera 500 or the Compact hunter which is even shorter. I recently bought the Compact Hunter and am very happy with it. The barrel is only 395mm but it drives the 44.75 pellets and RMR slugs right at 900 fps and the accuracy is quite good.
I could get more shots per fill if I slowed it down into the 850 range and abandoned the slugs but the gun was bought for hunting medium sized game and I will forfeit some shot count for fpe.

found one brand new 1600 and change at air gun titans nice but to long starting to lean towards the brk ghost
That gun should be in the 900-1000$ at the absolute most. Seriously, get either a vulcan 3 30, an impact mk3 or m2 .30, or get a wildcat .30

Someone on the classifieds is selling an impact mk2 for $1000 you get a caliber kit in .30 as well as the 720 plenum with the power block and you'll be in business.

yeah, that FX boss is long nice but not my style, still not 100% took a ride to a somewhat local shop that carries FX Brocock (BRK) Skout and day state
AA and a few other brands.
there opinion was to get a .25 vs .30 they said the .30 are air hog's vs the .25 i didn't realize they used that much more air.
they brought a fx m3 .30 600mm barrel fx m3 .25 compact and 2 ghosts a carbine and a hp 17 and 23 in barrels

after seeing the difference of .25 vs .30 and the amount of air that is used im thinking .25 will fit the bill
i will say its a tossup between the Fx m3 and the ghost hp,
then he says if i wanted the black hp ghost he could do it for 1725.00 cash out the door.
i said hold that thought i will let you know tomorrow.

i will say both the fx and the ghost hp with the little, longer barrel 23 vs 17 are well balanced i think better than the carbine
30 in vs 33 isn't much my Notos is 35 my Buddie wants my Noto's not sure i want to sell it,, but said if i do it isn't coming with that scope or mounts lol.
going to think about it with that offer it put it into my price range...

So shot count is important, accuracy is important, what about power? Cause if it's not as important you're better of with the .25.

That’s a great price on the Ghost, its going to depend on which one felt better in your grasp… Me I am partial to the BRKs through their performance afield. Others have had great success with theirs in competitions. If you feel “haunted” tonight? It might not be a bad thing… 🙈
