Hatsan This could be one of the best $400 PCP pistols?

Really for this price how can you go wrong? While not as powerful as the Huben, it is certainly accurate and plenty powerful for the masses. Mine was registering 15 fpe in .22.

For those of you who wish to discuss consumer support, I chatted with Hatsan USA before doing this review. They wanted me to share that anyone needing support should use their Customer Support form linked here and not try to get ahold of them by phone. As long as you are within warranty they should be able to help you out, even send out parts if you are able to DIY.

Enough chatting, checkout my review below.👇

that was a good honest review..I got the velox I think second batch, almost didn't because of the reviews that were available, however those that were having trouble with them were in 25 caliber and they were right off the start using extra heavy pellets.. mine shoots jsb 18 grain and crossman premier hollow point 14 grain just about as good..2 full magazine per fill but the last shot sounds like a double fire.. but what's to complain about it, it's past the quoted number of shots and I assume that since it's low on air that it's just hammer bounce after the last pellet.
I've tried the jsb jumbo monster redesigned 25 grain pellets in my hatsan blitz and it turns into a bolt action, so I don't use them in that just because I don't know if it will harm the blitz.. however the velox fires them just fine..
and honestly it is the smallest affordable PCP pistol that I know of.
I do like it's open sights too.. much better than the umarex notos.. weight is about the same, however I shortened my notos down to 16" overall, factory is 22" ..I removed the moderator and shorten the barrel to 8" and put a moderator in the shroud..
overall I like the velox the best..
I'm not fond of changing air cylinders under pressure as I'm worried something might go wrong and it could be the next projectile.. but so far so good..
I'd definitely recommend the hatsan velox..
again thank you for such a good fair review.

I saw that hatsan has a moderator, but I can't find it anywhere in the USA.
do you know where I can get a good quiet one, that is for air guns only? I have read and watched several reviews and some work well on some but barely on others..
I'd appreciate recommendations, especially if you know where I can get one and possibly a adapter to use it on the hatsan blitz too.
thank you

How is the trigger pull?

How is the trigger pull?
trigger pull is surprisingly good.. at least as good as my umarex notos..
I wasn't expecting that good of trigger after owning the blitz.. it's awful heavy trigger pull..
sadly the velox is the closest to what I consider a pistol in PCP.. I can't get a attman and I definitely can't afford the huben..
the sights are really good on the velox

hey if there's anything else you want to know if I can help you please let me know.. you are welcome to PM me if you want to..
I'm wanting to get back into extreme long distance shooting.. so I got a airforce Condor 22 caliber.. I'm really trying to figure out a few things and well I am not good about getting around the forum..
if anyone knows what size slugs work best for the Condor 22 barrel I'd like to know.. I do know it's factory choked..I plan on getting some jsb beasts but I'd like to try out some NSA slugs but don't know what size.. like 217 or 218??
I'm also planning on making a barrel blank that is not choked especially for shooting slugs..
if anyone has any information I'd greatly appreciate it too.

The Velox is indeed a fun pistol.
I shoot it always on a remote line, set at 180Bar.
Removed the piston and rod, shoots even better and still cycles between 210 and 130Bar.
Did made a new Piccatinny rail on it so I can put a reddot on it.
And a Weihrauch silencer.

So I just got my velox, and wanted to know if anyone has any interest in a side plate cover with integrated picatinny rail 3d model. I just modeled one up and am printing out my first one. After I do a test fit, assuming it fits first try, I'll come back to here and share the goodness. now I'm assuming the back side of that plastic cover is flat, so I might have more work to do. also had trouble getting more than 200 bar to stay in the pistol, when I'd crack the bleeder all the air dumped, unless when under 200 I closed and opened the bleeder again. both tanks did this and I tried many times. turned out dumping the air and dripping a few drops of silicone oil in the foster fitting before filling and filling so the oil would go in the pistol cured the issue. Just incase anyone else has experienced this. also how many shots is everyone getting, I only get about 15 before it won't recock itself, not a huge deal just isn't 20.

I printed off this monster of a L.D.C and the results are unbelievable. a little large but I love the look. thingiverse under "seligarmor". I rotated my flashlight down and now it looks even cooler and I can hit the button with my thumb. rats and racoons are about to be extinct in my neck of the woods.

I find it impossible to remove a full tank, did it once and have no intention of putting it back on. going on is doable, but to fill one and then remove it is alot. I assume there must be a probe of some sort to fill one off the pistol? that would be okay.

you didn't mention what caliber, I get 2 full magazine per cylinder.. with a burp last shot which I assume is hammer bounce.. glad to know about the silicone oil..I had to bleed mine really fast to prevent loosing air.

that would be nice.. but not that I know of..
yes it's very hard to unscrew under pressure and I always worry something will go wrong and it will be the projectile..
