This Daystate Red Wolf Safari

It seems that the airgun manufactures always hype up their new guns before the the first CNC machine is programmed then a year or 2 later when it’s released on the market there is never enough available to meet demand and that also goes for repair parts. Let other people be the guineapigs 

Even though it’s similar to the original it has a new computer board and I think a new type of barrel.

I know they have prototypes out for the factory Daystate shooters to test. Claudio Flores was shooting one at RMAC, but didn't make the finals at 100 yards. He told me he was shooting the .25 Mk2 Heavies at 1070 FPS (if I heard him right and my Spanish understood "mil-setenta".). Looking at my topic today on pellet speed versus wind, it makes me wonder if he'd been shooting at 950 FPS would he have qualified for the finals, since he only missed by one point...

My prediction is that we'll see a gaggle of them at EBR with all the shooters that shot the Red Wolf last year (the Wolf Pack) instead this year shooting the .25 Safari. Instead of Wolf Pack maybe Safari Swarm? ;)

Well I only shot it on High. ~40 shots before low pressure led came on. It was at 180 bar :) when it came on. SWP is 250. Unfortunately it will be a while before I get back out with it. :-(

Here is 10 shot magazine groups at 40 yards. Use JSB MKII & NSA 38.5gr hollow points. So the Safari has not been cleaned and fired less than fifty times. Last 4-5 shots on NSA slugs were with Low Pressure led on. Plan on testing both at 100 yards when I get to the range. Red bullseye is smaller than a US dime. Got some work to do, my RW HP holes the red circle with 10 shots at 40 yards with MKIIs. Also note that I was using a Caldwell tripod and it was somewhat wobbly.

The only difference between the RW HP and the Safari is the stock. Both will sport the ART barrels in .25 from what I understand. I've been testing mine now for a few days.... INCREDIBLE! I'm sure you'll love it. 945 w MkII Heavies in factory programmed state and 920 w Kings on low. Spanks the snot out my steel targets at 100.

Anyway , have fun!

The only difference between the RW HP and the Safari is the stock. Both will sport the ART barrels in .25 from what I understand. I've been testing mine now for a few days.... INCREDIBLE! My .22 RW HP is last years model. No ART barrel or updated electronics. Still smacks the crap out of targets at 100 yards. Mine is shooting the Redesigns @ 940. Heading out shooting now.... "Fixin' To Get Ready" for EBR!
