This is a GREAT FORM BUT ?????

As great as this form is & we depend on our friends so much in making discussions we many times end up with more questions then
answers many times. I do not want a bottle to fill my gun when I shoot remote locations. I want a waterless compressor to power off
my truck. I been wanting one for years that will not break the bank. But I know it is a crap shoot to what to buy. I want something under
$400. Please some here give recommend my best shot at what to buy????

I have been running 2 GX compressors for the past 3 years: GXCS3 & GXCS3-I. While not without their faults these compressors have proven to be dependable and repairable. There is a huge community on Youtube and Bill over at Target Forge ( https://targetforge.net/ ) carries parts and can provide some troubleshooting and servicing help. You are able to order these compressors from many different vendors, Amazon, Aliexpress, and directly from the vendor gxpumpofficial.com/. There is currently a limited time discount on the GX website if it helps with your decision making. Remember YMMV!

This Vevor compressor costs only like $150, pushes 4500 psi, and can run off your 12v car battery. Reviews and feedback are positive. I'm thinking of getting one myself to keep in my trunk and use as a backup.

Have you considered a battery powered solution? GX Pumps has the L2 and L3 compressors that run on a single or dual battery system and are both less than $400.00.

I have an L3 and it's great! Essentially the same compressor as the CS3, but runs on batteries. And, the batteries it uses are Makita 18V batteries that are easy to source for back-up or spares. The beauty of this set up is, you don't have to run your vehicle while running the compressor.

The L3 is $359.99 direct from GX Pumps, and you can get an additional 10% off using discount code GX10OFF and shipping is free. For the price, this might be a good option to consider.
