I also thought about waiting for the Zelos, but I'm not enamored with the look, not bad, just doesn't look great, and I'm not dissatisfied with the Notos. I get enough shots outta mine, that it's not an issue, as I too can go to the garage to refill. I normally have to stop to set up targets anyway. I don't need a bottle added, it just makes it more unwieldy to me. I have bottle guns if I want a lot of shots. So, I thought I'd just stick with the Notos. If I hear a lot of good reviews on the Zelos, I may add it later.
Hence this commentThat's what I was wondering. I didn't see the weight specified anywhere yet that I know of, but since it's a bit bigger than the m60 tube logically it would be a bit heavier
Still waiting for the resultsI'll put her on the scale when I get home. I hope I'm not confusing my Maverick...
Yes, yes you are.Still waiting for the results
No problem. Just wouldn't let you forgetYes, yes you are.
I got an FX barrel kit for my Notos, it took priority.![]()
The Monstrum has a bit of rise to it. I looked at the Monstrum 3X30 blackbird but it looks to have a lower profile than the one on your Notos. Would you recommend a riser mount if getting a lower profile sight?First, I thought the "bag rider" was to give the grip/butt mount strength. I thought about removing it, but it really doesn't interfere with anything with me. BUT, my second Notos will be here tomorrow and I may go ahead and lop it off, but I'm concerned it will make it less strong.

I like the ideas, and love looking at all the mods folks have done, and hey, later I may do the same, but for now it's fine with me.
About the only mod I've been considering, is a forearm with bipod mount.
As to the scope/sight, it's a Monstrum prism 3X with circle dot and illumination. I almost never use the illumination, but it works fantastic, absolutely no flare it is perfect. Lenses are clear and bright and the dot is easy to use.. As I said, paintballs are pretty easy. I just ordered a second with a slightly smaller dot, but to be honest, I can't tell a lot of difference, but the sights are great for around $90.
No problem. Just wouldn't let you forget
I thought you got the zelos since the message you replied to was about the zelos. Now your messages start to make sense. It's a heavy girl, 9#.
EDIT: 9# 12oz with Alpha 6 scope
Ok I'll go off the weight you find out. Huma Air lists the tube at 8.6 lb and the bottle at 7.9 lb![]()
@Firewalker , what is that gadget at the end of the moderator on your Notos? I'm sorry, I'm sure it must be posted somewhere else, but felt compelled to ask. Is it something that any nimrod can add on and does it make the stock Notos .22 quieter?
I can't imagine any .22 quieter than this Streamline I just got with a Hugget mod on it shooting 18.1 JSBs. Unfortunately my custom tuned (by whoever, I'm at least the 3rd owner) S200 .177 makes even the Streamline sound "loud" in comparison.
My perfect Notos would be in .177 at 12FPE with about 4oz more muzzle weight than the stock Notos for Red dot shooting. Even at near 70 yrs old I am really liking this Notos platform for weight, length and handiness. Maybe I should just put a red dot (weight) on my S200 .177 and call it a day but I hate to do that on a gun that is minute of squirrel eyeball at 35 yrds every time the trigger is pulled quiet as death with 10.34 JSBs.
I sure would love to buy two of those fancy lever handles ...
Perty. i'll take two if you have them . HahahaNah, that's the "old" version, here's the new one...
