This is what and Airgun should look like and weigh…IMO, what do you think? I just added pictures that show the process if you’re interested.

So then you’d have to grab one of its brothers…I’m committed to this light weight idea.

Beautiful family there! I was in the process of gathering wood to make a stock for my .25 Diana Bandit when Buck-Rail introduced their carbine kit. I took the lazy way out. You're inspiring me to look at that project again.

Mike, I love where you’ve taken this… A gun you can actually bring along on dog walks and not have your hands full.
I wish the makers would take a look at this scenario. I don’t need 30 shots, I don’t need a big heavy implement. A dozen shots is fine a small tank means less weight, short barrel means less weight. It just makes sense.

I think most people would prefer nice wood, I could be wrong.

Great job on what I view as an AR6 carbine being Short & compact at lower weight makes for a very easy carry & just a good time plinker.
Can relate !!

I like it! I have 5 pistols currently that can all be converted to lightweight carbines. Even my fx crown compact with synthetic stock can be outfitted to weigh 6lbs on the dot. I will have a Ranchero soon as well I will be finding a stock for, too. I like shooting pistols but also like converting them to carbines sometimes. Switch them back and forth, so it's like having 2x the amount of guns, lol. This is probably my favorite. A brocock grand prix with a Contour stock and custom trigger/guard to fit the stock. Rock solid and dead accurate, unregulated, they just don't make them like this anymore.

Since you're into hi power, this is my pp800 that produces 48fpe in 9" barrel, but only gets 2 shots per fill lol.

And for custom, this is a 1322 believe it or not. 7.6" LW barrel, integrated suppressor, 27fpe.

I got lucky and snagged the bsa Jsr that was in the classifieds recently. Pleasure to shoot.

Adding a stock extension from a piece of Turkish walnut I cut from my kral breaker to shorten that up. It's still the lightest gun I own right now.

If I can ever find a full size ultra stock to drop this in, I will cut this stock down and make a mare's leg type sawed off pistol stock to swap back and forth.

Gorgeous. I've always wanted one of the little BSA's in .177 tuned just below 12 fpe.

It really is a nice compact rifle. I'm still playing goldilocks with scopes and moderators til I get it just right. This one is right under 12 fpe in 22. I have no plans on modifying it for power, just shoot and enjoy. It stacks every pellet I've tried so far, even those crappy piranha pellets.
