Just got pellets from Utah Airguns that came packed using the same foam blocks PA uses. No stretch wrap around the foam blocks holding the 5 tins I got but they were so snug in there they didn't need to be and they used solid ones on the top and bottom to protect the ends.
I just received 5 tins of H&N slugs from UAG packaged the same way. The foam fit very tight around the tins and in the shipping box.

I unfortunately just had the opposite experience. WAY too large of a shipping nox was used.

Foam packing was there but tins were not secured in foam. Some minor denting on tins. Fx hybrid slugs packages were loose in box and one of them opened, spilling slugs out. Lost a few through hole in box. I order my ammo from Pyramyd because of the care they usually take in packaging but this was the second order in a row that arrived "less than optimal".

After the rise in prices across the board and lack of availability we all experienced relatively recently, I finally came to the conclusion that buying pellets from PA is my best option.

Mainly because of the packaging. Never got a damaged tin from PA, but my wallet sure isn't nearly as thick as it used to be...

Oh, and I find various uses for the packing material they use! (grin)

That's how my last order from PA was sent, must have been packed by the same person!

I got an order of 3 tins from Field Supply today. Their price for the H&N Baracuda Match pellets my P35-22 loves is better than PAs and you get free shipping with a $25 order so I took a chance. They arrived today in great shape. Bubble wrap over the three tins taped securely in place and then more larger bubble wrap in the box. It wasn't as nice as the cut out squares PA uses but it did the job. When they have what want at a good price I'll order from them again.
