Sounds like a good challengping game. You should also check out the Big bore/ Smal bore air rifle silhouette matches being held at OKC gun club. They shoot out to 200 meters on full size (60lbs) rams. Most are shooting AF Texans in 308 with 150gr+ slugs. They also have small bore shot on the small bore handgun targets out to 100yds. You can check out their rules at the OKC gun club web sight. All guns are shot off a front bag with no rear rest. The chickens are shot from the standing position.

Sorry I missed this, I didn't get an email and didn't think to look in the benchrest section for the match info. Quick question, the rules says 80 foot pound max but in your match report you list 100 foot pound slug and pellet winners. Is it 80 or 100 foot pounds? The reason I ask is because I spent an afternoon throwing a lot of lead downrange two weeks ago to figure out a sub 80 foot pound setup on my 30. I would rather keep it around 95 foot pounds, but I didn't think that would be allowed.

Sorry you didn't get that TPS report, Scott; but I just (now) added you to the email list. So from now on you'll be invited to TEXtreme events. Well, I should say, any that wouldn't expect women or children in attendance.😂

You must be looking at BRS rules pre-dating the increase to 100 foot pounds; that's what it is now (since Derrick paid that $100 'consultation fee' that resulted in the rules change). However the limit for TEXtreme EFT matches is still 80 foot pounds (and no slugs allowed) due to close proximity of neighbors' homes.
