Thought Slugs?

Wasn’t sure if this should be entered under projectiles or PCP.
Wanted to play, so put some 13gr. ZAN’s and NSA 12.5gr. Slugs through my IMPACT.
15 shots @ 66yds. Zero wind… Note: first two shots didn’t record? These were the ZAN’s, NSA we’re about the same.

Could try higher and slower speeds to find a node for accuracy slugs can be a pain to get dialed in but once you do you can reach out there with them I've just stuck to pellets only need to reach out to 100 yards and my 25 cals running 33.95 jsb do that just fine for me but I've read and watched quite a bit about slugs the higher BC is where they shine for long distance

I have to admit I have the stupidest luck with slugs..since the reports on the uragans were that they were good with slugs..when I purchased them all 4 calibers I asked for a tune for the heavier pellet aviable for each between 940fps n 960fps..minus the .30 that one is in the 900fps .. 177 does the 15g Nielsen n 16g griffin. Flawless the .22 - 25g knockouts the .25 - Nielsen 34.9 and the 30 .. 49.7 old Nielsen n fx hybrid.. one tune to the gun for speed for a specific weight.. no more drama.. I just buy 1 weigh slug per gun in lots . I know for sure what the gun is going to do when I pull the trigger..

This post wasn’t to bash slugs, it was just to give a example of no tuning, no size selection etc. I just arbitrarily picked a couple in a weight range I thought would work in my gun.
I’m actually quite happy to see these results, and if I decided to take the time to tune for these it should be quite easy.
I also wanted to add the 2 bulls you see in pic. Was from a 50yd USARB target that I had shot @ 66yds with the same gun using 13.4 RD’s previous to trying the slugs, those aren’t part of the 15 slug group.

I’m not a slug shooter normally, but with the lack of pellets and cost, plus not wanting to dip into the supply I have that shoot well in my comp. .177, I wanted to see how slugs do out of my “FUN” gun with no specific tuning for slugs.
I’m sure I have the ability to shoot the lighter slugs at the speeds they want? I’m having fun and no reason to get to caught up in a slug chase, I don’t seriously hunt or need the long range advantages of slugs. But its nice to know they are very acceptable in my gun.
