Thread pitch 1/8 BSP

If the gauge threads are tapered then no. This shows how they work and seal. BSP stands for Brittish Pipe Thread. There's a tapered and parallel version.

T is for tapered

BSP Threads

British standard pipe fittings are amongst the most popular threads in the world today.

Here is how to identify a BSP thread.

BSP threads come in two different variants:

– Parallel (BSPP)

– Tapered (BSPT)

Simple question today. Is 1/8 BSP same as 1/8 BSPP?
@jarmstrong 's post has it all correct

FYI
1/8 BSP is the same as 1/8 BSPP and is a straight thread (p meaning parallel)
This what's used in air guns
BSPT is tapered and is not commonly used with high pressure air

1/8 NPT (North American) and 1/8 BSP (European) are the same pitch, only BSPP (I don't think you will find these openly in NA) a bit different cone vs NPT.
Also 10 mm (Asian) is a parallel thread very close pitch and can be partially threaded in BSP...I tried these work with bottom puck.
The only difference between these four is - how and where they seal.
