I have a HW95 k, 12.25" threaded barrel. I currently have a moderator on it but would like to remove it at times and just add something to protect the threads, maybe 3 or 4 inches long, 1/2-20. Any ideas, the threaded length of the barrel is a little over an inch.

I will shoot it this way. Think the barrel weight on the newer HW98, that is what I'm after.

Easiest and cheapest is this:
1/2 UNF (20) tap requires a 11.5mm or 29/64 drill bit.
Buy a drill bit and walk around Lowes/Home Depot/ACE hardware looking for a pipe/tube the drill bit does not fit in. Drill and tap to the desired depth.
This could be copper, PVC, steel, etc.

should be pretty simple to turn down and tap an aluminum cap, or make it into a muzzle brake looking piece if you have a machine shop close ... also a cayden has one ready made if crosman has them as a part that can be ordered, its 1/2 20 ... the base may need to be slightly modified to blend to your barrel ...

It sounds like AOA can order the muzzle weight that comes on the field pro which is exactly what I want. I’ll know for sure next week. Thanks for all the suggestions.
