Time to re-engage

Busted butt all summer. Hot humid monsoon season in North Carolina. Now we can breath again and shoot in comfort. Grateful for seasons, but who really wants to sweat all over their air rifles. Also days shorter. Long dark nights mean forum time. Who else drops of forum for busy spring and summer months?

Well, I’m not too far from ya (geographically) Hotlanta is just as hot & humid. As for my time shooting and on forum, I try to shoot, test, review, forum, & hunt (pest) as much as I can. Life, however does get in the way. Job, house, kids, wife, & etc. Otherwise, as long as it’s not raining or I’m sick, I am game. Hot weather or cold weather isn’t a problem for me.

I don't have to drop off forum when busy. I have to drop off shooting, testing, everything but forums. Love the fall, favorite season.

Fall and winter are about the only times its tolerable in S. TX so that's when I'm out plinking or hunting. My buddy in Montana already has snow! Time to hunker down.

 I’m pretty new to the forum but I know what you mean. I live in western Pennsylvania and I have a old girlfriend that I still keep in touch with and have visited her in North Carolina. She lives right on the ocean just a little below Wilmington. The last time I was down there it was a 100° without the heat index. And it was so humid that at night time it looked like fog. Now that I am a lot older I can’t handle the heat like I used to. I like the spring and fall the best. Even here in Pennsylvania I was sweating my butt off outside shooting my air guns. So I can only imagine down there shooting them in the summer.

Out west in AZ we're in a drought. Hot, dry, dusty, smokey, and windy. Finally it's cooling down some. Thankfully the humidity is almost non existent. I hate that humid feeling back east!!!!

I still shot quite a bit and spent time on my favorite forums though.

I shot at dairies in AZ from 30 Sept to 13 Oct and no wind to speak of. Doesn't happen very often. Man, it was hot though.. Loved it! Let's me practice holds using my range card and reticle. Have fun, Scott
