Spending quality time with the c-1 today. Light handy and accurate rifle and a huge plus about it is it likes the cphp 7.9. Not a power house but a great plinker and pester 40 and in with my subpar shooting abilities .

I bought one when they were new, right out of the box. Great little carbine for rabbit hunting in the bushland. I put a peep sight on it, fast pointing. As you said, 40 yards and under. Many a bunnie ended up on my table thanks to it.

Had one in .22 set up with an SS1 scope for some time years ago. It was a deadly pester and a fun plinker. Should've kept that one. Lol

The c1& fwb 124 are both light nimble rifles but for me the c-1 is the better gun for carrying in the woods. Neither have been scoped because I like the open sights on both guns and don’t want to add weight to them but I’m sure I will at some point.
